Are you ready to start the Camí dress Sew-Along?
Over the next weeks, we’ll be sewing the Camí dress together and you will be able to ask me questions through the comment section of the blog directly. We’ll cover all the steps that are in the instructions but with more pictures and extra details so that the beginners can feel more confident with the pattern.
Here is the schedule:
- September 17th: Fabric inspiration
- September 21rst: Muslin and adjustments
- September 23rd: Interfacing the collar, cuffs and button placket
- September 25th: Sewing the bodice
- September 26th: Option – adding a breast pocket
- September 27th: Setting the sleeves in
- September 30th: Version B – making the cuffs
- October 2nd: Collar
- October 4th: Collar variation – Peter pan collar
- October 5th: Buttonholes
- October 7th: Sewing the pockets and attaching the skirt
- October 9th: Skirt variation and add a lining
- October 11th: Zipper
- October 14th: Finish the dress
- October 25th: The big Camí Parade! And Prize!
